For 93 years, the Lidgerwood Woman's Club has been hosting the Honor Student Banquet, where the students are honored for high scholastic achievement. The banquet originally honored only girls; however, since the boys were only recognized at the Athletic Banquet, the Woman's Club began to honor them as well. Besides being treated to a meal, the students this year enjoyed listening to the guest speaker Brady Nash, who explained to the students the difference between being an employee and being a business owner/investor. He also highlighted characteristics that he believes make good employees, told the students that they should set goals, and then asked them if they would hire themselves. The attendees were entertained by Kristi Goldade, who sang 3 songs, one of which she wrote herself. She accompanied herself on guitar. Kristi has performed with the Medora Musical and at the Norsk Hostfest.

The criteria for attending the banquet is that the student must have nothing lower than a grade of a B in the first three nine-week grading periods of the school year; however, the student is allowed one B- on his or her report card.
