History: The company was established in 1976 by John & James Popp as Southwest Plastics of N.D. At this time, the business sold mainly plastic bindings, equipment and cover stock to the Midwest region. There were 5 employee’s. In 1985, the company changed it’s name to Popp Plastic Binding and hired 2 more employee’s as the selling territory expanded to the entire United States. In 1989, the laminating industry took off and the company incorporated that into the name as Popp Binding & Laminating, Inc. At this time, a warehouse and shipping area was built to accommodate our increasing product line of laminating pouches, film and various other products pertaining to the binding & laminating industry. Today we sell over 450 different items and have customers in every state. All stock merchandise is shipped from our Lidgerwood, ND location.
